It is my pleasure to welcome you to the first and only dental college in Oman.

The Oman Dental College, established in 2006, is a single standing dental college with a diverse but close-knit community of Faculty, Staff and Students who are committed to fostering resilience during everyone’s unique ODC journey that is challenging, satisfying and successful. ODC Staff and Faculty are both accessible and approachable, as we all believe that we can grow together and achieve our full potential with an ODC culture that is respectful, supportive and friendly to all.

This ODC journey is one of acquiring education and training in evidence-based dentistry whilst making a difference to the oral health in Oman and globally by focusing on a curriculum and clinical experience of international standards. This was achieved through the continued support of our International Advisory Panel and our academic affiliate, the University Complutense of Madrid (UCM).

ODC has invested in a state-of the art facilities and acquiring appropriate educators nationally and internationally in order to provide our students’ with a special clinical experience by blending clinical research with patient care in a clinical setting for holistic care. We believe, that through vertical and horizontal integration of disciplines, the next generation of oral healthcare workers would be well prepared and committed to achieving better outcomes for their patients in a rapidly evolving society, as we strive to continuously improve our standards.

The ODC community is a young research community that is curious about discovering oral epidemiological data, dental trends, perceptions of oral health in Oman as well as general discoveries, research and innovation through a national and international collaborative approach.

ODC encourages and supports our Alumni in their life-long professional journey, through continuing professional development, voluntary work and extracurricular activities. These bonds are developed and nurtured during the undergraduate years at ODC, instill a sense of pride and belonging in our future ODC ambassadors as they continue to offer their services and contributing to patient-centered care and improve the well-being of their respective communities in Oman and abroad. Many of our graduates have excelled nationally and internationally and some are now Faculty at ODC.

I would like to invite you to explore our Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Programme, the oral healthcare services we provide to our community and in addition, our ODC community would also like to share our stories with you.

Welcome to ODC!
